The main components of ductile iron pipe include carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus and magnesium, etc. Ductile iron pipe is made by adding spheroidizing agent in casting iron water to spheroidize the graphite and through high-speed centrifugal casting process. The spheroidization level is controlled at 1-3 levels, and the spheroidization rate is not less than 80%, thus improving the mechanical properties of the material.
